Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Taylor, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Michigan run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. Typical hours are 11 amβ9:30 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. First time trying this place, dined in, and all the food was delicious. Chicken GyΕza π₯ was perfectly cooked and we devoured it. I got the Ruby Crunch Roll and my GF got the Mango Tango Roll π₯ (both were tempura rolls in-which the entire roll is battered and fried, highly recommend) and we both found our respective rolls to be quite tasty, super flavorful and filling too. Very good portion size for the price, definitely had enough left overs for another meal later. Will for sure be stopping by in the future, so many options on the menu, need to try more of it.

My family and I stopped in around 4:45 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, with a party of three (two adults and one small child). Unfortunately, we were turned away at the door before we were even greeted. From across the restaurant, my husband said, βThree,β while holding up three fingers. Without saying hello, the employee immediately responded, βI only have two tables right now, or you can sit at the bar,β while shaking her head βno.β We observed two available tables with four chairs total, so the interaction was confusing. Also, since we were dining with our young child, the bar wasnβt a realistic seating option for us. Whether those tables were reserved or unavailable for another reason wasnβt explained. A simple greeting and brief explanation would have made a big difference. Instead, the interaction felt dismissive, and we left feeling like our business wasnβt wanted. Based on this experience, we wonβt be returning.

Everything about my visit was fantastic. The presentation of the food is truly impressive, especially the way they decorate the plate with the name of the restaurant. I really enjoyed the fresh, vibrant ingredients in my meal. The noodles were cooked perfectly and everything tasted wonderful. I will definitely be coming back again soon.

Tried The Sushi Bar and came away pretty underwhelmed. The Korean ramen tasted like instant grocery-store ramen, and the noodles were so overcooked they were practically disintegrating. The sushi was okay β slightly above grocery store quality, but nothing memorable. Service was very slow, waters were never refilled, and it appeared there was only one server handling everything. The overall presentation and decorum felt off as well β the server looked like he came straight from a skate park, and the music didnβt fit the atmosphere of a Japanese restaurant at all. Atmosphere itself was decent enough, but overall the experience felt disconnected. Iβd seriously question the current 4.9-star rating. Maybe it was better at one point, but based on this visit, Iβd put it around a 3.5/5 at best.

Hands down the best sushi spot in the area (and in the surrounding areas). I wasn't expecting it to be so great, but the reviews are spot-on. We tried a couple different items - California Roll, Wonder Salmon Roll, Alaskan Roll (not pictured, I ordered it to-go), and Love Roll. Everything was amazing and fresh. Of the four we tried, I highly recommend the Wonder Salmon Roll; it was delicious. I want to try a lot more things, so I plan on making the trip (about 40 minutes) several more times in the near future. It's absolutely worth the drive. The place is small, but clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I honestly can't say enough great things about this place and I absolutely highly recommend it. It has a large enough menu that everyone will find something they like. Also, a neighboring table ordered the Love Boat and it looked so pretty that I asked if I could take a photo... so, we did not order it nor try anything off it it; the photo was purely for its beauty and my Google review. For what it's worth, the couple who ordered it really seemed to enjoy it and ate about 95% of it.
